Ekpedeftiki Anagennisi is a Candidate School* for the IB Diploma Programme. This school is pursuing authorization as an IB World School. These are schools that share a common philosophy—a commitment to high quality, challenging, international education that Ekpedeftiki Anagennisi believes is important for our students.
Conditional on successful completion of our candidacy phase, we intend to welcome our inaugural IB1 cohort in September 2027. Our mission and vision aligns with the IB Learner Profile. Each year, around 25% of our graduating class decides to study abroad. We expect the IB curriculum to expand our existing capabilities to send internationally minded citizens to the world’s leading universities.
*Only schools authorized by the IB Organization can offer any of its four academic programmes: the Primary Years Programme (PYP), the Middle Years Programme (MYP), the Diploma Programme, or the Career-related Programme (CP).
